For my birthday last year, Chris bought me a spot in the DSLR course for beginners at the Australian Centre for Photography. After much dallying, I finally enrolled into the one-day course… about a week before the voucher expired. So much for proactivity for 2016, right?
Admittedly, there’s a lot more of getting to know my camera before I can fully work on developing my own style of photography. There’s something so intimate about photography that I’m not sure people appreciate, or they might just appreciate it in their own ways.
For me, I want to know the ins and outs of my Olympus OMD EM10.. I want to be so familiar with all its dials, switches, grooves, every edge and every corner, that it becomes a part of me.
Evidently, the photos above are taken by an amateur (yours truly) and it’s a matter of practice, lots of reading, lots of experimenting before I get to that stage where I can truly be proud of what I produce.
